Energy saving gas boiler

Several factors that determine the gas consumption of a gas boiler are: the calorific value of the fuel, the operating thermal efficiency of the gas boiler, and the tonnage of the gas boiler.

1. Fuel calorific value

If the gas consumption of a gas boiler is calculated, the low calorific value of the gas and the thermal efficiency value of the boiler are inseparable. Because the quality of the natural gas supply in different regions is different, the quality of the gas boiler, the amount of mixed air, and the low calorific value of the gas will have the difference. The gas consumption calculation of the gas boiler should clarify the thermal efficiency value of the gas boiler. The higher the thermal efficiency value of the boiler, the lower the gas consumption, and vice versa. Generally speaking, the calorific value of natural gas is 8600 kJ.

2. Thermal efficiency of gas boiler operation

The gas consumption of the gas boiler is inversely proportional to the operating thermal efficiency. The higher the operating thermal efficiency of the boiler, the lower the gas consumption of the boiler. The thermal efficiency of gas boilers produced by Fangkuai boiler manufacturers is generally above 98%. Compared with other gas boilers on the market, the thermal efficiency can be more than 15% higher, which is much higher than other boilers in terms of energy saving and money saving.

3. Tonnage of gas boiler

There is no doubt that the larger the tonnage of the boiler, the more gas is required, so everyone must choose the boiler model and tonnage that meet the actual needs of the enterprise.
Taking a 1-ton gas boiler as an example, calculate the gas consumption of the gas boiler.
Calculation method of gas consumption of gas boiler: gas consumption = total boiler power / fuel calorific value / boiler operation thermal efficiency.
       The hourly gas consumption of a 1-ton gas boiler = 600,000 kcal / 8,600 kJ / 98% = 71.19 cubic meters.
This formula calculates the gas consumption data when the thermal efficiency of the gas boiler is 98%. In practical applications, the gas consumption is higher. When calculating the gas consumption of the gas boiler, the calorific value of natural gas and boiler efficiency should be fully considered. Only in this way can the calculated value be in line with the actual situation.

It can be seen that the gas consumption per hour of a 1-ton gas boiler is about 72 cubic meters. You can deduce the gas consumption of other tonnage gas boilers by analogy.
